Hello everyone It's been a while, hasn't it? 

I was just checking out my inbox here on DA when something came up that I'd like to talk with you about.

Now, I usually try not to get upset over small and silly things online, but this has been two things that has been kind of bugging me for a while now, and that is this whole "Alicorn Policing" that seems to be going on.

I'm just a little confused why people seems to assume that if someone creates a Alicorn, or even a group of Alicorns like I have, that character must be a Mary Sue. Sure, they're both super rare and powerful in the official works of MLP FIM, but that doesn't mean they have to be that outside the show. 

For example, my own Alicorns are not that much more powerful than a normal unicorn, heck, one of them is one the same level as the unicorns. It might not show so well in my pictures, but I WAS intending to create a story on WHY Alicorns are so rare and powerful, and WHY a pony could even become one in the first place. And while it's true I might not tell that story it was still what those characters were intended for.

Just so that you guys know.

Seriously, I think what made me so annoyed in the first place was the phrase "Mary Sue." I just find it ugly and overused. But hey, that might just be me.

Anyhow, sorry I just came back to rant, I just felt like speaking about this for a second, hope that's alright.
